Inspired by the image titled Brittle Blue taken by my husband underwater photographer Glen Cowans
The very central body of a tiny brittle seastar has an intricate geometric design. As tiny as the fingernail of your small finger these seastars encompass a beauty that is so small it is usually missed by the naked eye. Those that practice yoga and meditation know this pattern well as it is often replicated by humans into a design known as a Mandala, which is a focus point for the mind to meditate to. I find it amazing that nature creates these masterpieces in such intricate detail such that our attempts to replicate them pale in comparison.

I have carefully sealed the front and back of the image to ensure that it is water resistant. It will be OK if you get caught in the rain, but please avoid submerging it when swimming or bathing.
